Youth Confirmation
Confirmation is a Sacrament of Initiation that completes the grace we received in Baptism. It seals, or confirms, this grace through the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit. This sacrament also makes us better able to participate in the worship and apostolic life of the Church.
Young people who are in the ninth grade or older, and who have received the sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist, are invited to participate in the process in the fall of each year through a mailing and notices in our parish bulletin.
Preparation involves catechesis and instruction in faith led by a team of parishioners. It is augmented by speakers and an annual retreat. Special sacramental preparation sessions are also held for our young people and their parents and sponsors.
The sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated on March 4, 2012. If you are interested in registering your son or daughter and have not received a letter and form by mail, please use the form below and mail or drop off at the Parish Office or register on line using the Interactive Registration form.
