Our work with children in our community is a tremendous privilege and an awesome responsibility. St. Gabriel Parish places the highest priority on the safety and protection of children and is committed to insure their safety and well-being. Our parish leaders, consistent with national and diocesan guidelines, have developed a policy that involves screening, background checks, training and on-going education. Our Safety & Abuse Prevention Program consists of two components: the VIRTUS Program for all employees and volunteers, and an educational component for all parents, guardians and children entitled Called to Protect.™
