We are called to foster, plan and celebrate prayerful, relevant and welcoming liturgical experiences by engaging the entire community in "full, conscious, and active participation" so that we may go forth to love and serve the Lord.

Children's Liturgy of the Word

Children's Liturgy of the Word takes place on Saturday's during the 5:00 pm Mass and on Sunday afternoons during the 12:15 pm Mass.

The children are sent forth with a catechist to the Annunciation Chapel. They listen to God's Word in the First Reading and the Gospel. They reflect in silence, sing the responses, share the homily in their own words, proclaim what they believe, express their own prayers and share their treasure. Children are given Children's Worship Bulletins to take home and complete, if they choose.
