St. Gabriel Worship and Prayer

We are called to foster, plan and celebrate prayerful, relevant and welcoming liturgical experiences by engaging the entire community in "full, conscious, and active participation" so that we may go forth to love and serve the Lord.

Music Ministry

God has bestowed upon his people the gift of song. God dwells within each human person, in the place where music takes its source. Indeed, God, the giver of song, is present whenever his people sing his praises.

Adult Choir

Weekly rehearsals take place on Thursdays from 7:30 - 9:30 pm in the Church.
Immediately following rehearsal we gather for food and fellowship in the gathering area. We invite junior high (seventh and eighth grade) and high school students to join the fun in Adult Choir. The full Adult Choir sings and participates in the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Liturgy. We gather at 9:45 a.m. in Annunciation Chapel for a brief rehearsal.

Small group ensembles are featured at the Saturday, 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, 7:30a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11:30am Liturgies. Men's Ensemble, Women's Ensemble and Teen Ensemble sing at weekend liturgies once every month and are called on to sing for many special Liturgies throughout the year.

Bereavement Choir

Dedicated singers join in an ensemble for every Funeral Liturgy celebrated at St. Gabriel's. This aspect of our ministry brings comfort to grieving families during a very difficult time. Bereavement Choir rehearses 45 minutes prior to the start of the Funeral Liturgy.

Teen Ensemble

St. Gabriel’s Teen M. U. S. I. C. (Many United Singing In Christ) group practices each Sunday afternoon to prepare for our Sunday evening 5:00 pm Youth Oriented Mass. Any teen entering grades 7 through 12 who wishes to sing/play at this weekly Mass is welcome to join. We need you! All rehearsals are in the church.
