St. Gabriel's Participation in the National Eucharistic Revival
Video Witnesses
Parishioners sharing their reflections on the meaning of the Eucharist in their lives. In what ways have they received the Body of Christ, so that they may become the Body of Christ to every person they encounter. To view the video witnesses, Watch Here.

When Does the Eucharistic Revival End?
The Eucharistic Revival doesn’t end with the conclusion of the Eucharistic Congress. The Revival is meant to continue. St. Gabriel will be offering monthly opportunities to deepen our love for Jesus in the Eucharist. We receive the Body of Christ that we may be the Body of Christ to all we meet. We will explore what it means to be the Greatest Eucharistic Miracle which is you as you receive the Body of Christ and are the Body of Christ to each person you encounter.
Attending Mass and participating, not only in the responses and songs, but by opening our hearts to Jesus, are the best ways to continue in the Eucharistic Revival.

YOU can participate in the Eucharistic Revival! Here are some ways:
- Attend Mass during the Week.
- Invite someone to join you at a Mass.
- Spend a few minutes before the Blessed Sacrament in Adoration.
- Be of service to someone: a family member, a neighbor, or pay for the coffee of the person behind you at the drive through.
- Before bed, keep a journal (or on your phone) of the ways that you have experienced Jesus today.
- Read something spiritually engaging.
- Take a walk in nature and find Jesus present there.
- Spend family time together making and enjoying a meal.
- Pray in silence, listening for Jesus to speak to your heart. Or pray with other people, because “where two or more are gathered…” Matthew 18:19-20
Participating in the National Eucharistic Revival and Congress.
At the moving of the Holy Spirit, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops began a three-year Eucharistic Revival. We are in year three of the Eucharistic Revival.
Parishioner and alum, Maddie Lough created this logo for St. Gabriel to help celebrate this revival! Let it remind us all that we are One Body in Christ and the center is the Eucharist!
St. Gabriel is actively engaged in the Eucharistic Revival in many ways! Below explains how as a parish we are a part of this amazing movement AND how you can deepen your love and gratitude for Christ, ever present in the Eucharist!

YEAR ONE

YEAR TWO |
YEAR THREE |
Year one was meant for Diocesan Staffs to begin planning for the Dioceses to engage parishes in the Eucharistic Revival.
|
Year two was a time for parishes to focus more intentionally on the Eucharist. We did this at St. Gabriel by inviting Fr. Fred, Fr. Eric Garris and Bishop Woost to give presentations on the Eucharist. Fr. Andy Gonzalez lead a Bible Study on the Eucharist in the Fall of 2023. If you are interested in rewatching the videos of these presentations, please click on the Hyperlinks in red above.
St. Gabriel also offered four Alpha Presents evenings throughout the year which focused on the Eucharist. |
Year Three Begins with the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis from Thursday, July 17th through Sunday, July 21st, 2024. For more information on the Eucharistic Congress please Click Here
