Confirmation is a Sacrament of Initiation that completes the grace we received in Baptism. It seals, or confirms, this grace through the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit. This sacrament also makes us better able to participate in the worship and apostolic life of the Church. Learn more about the Sacrament of Confirmation.
At St. Gabriel, young people who are in the ninth grade or older and who have received the sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist, are invited to participate in the process in the fall of each year.
Preparation this year, 2020/21, will be through remote learning using the program, "Called to Mercy," by St.Mary's Press. This will be enhanced with three Microsoft Teams class meetings, two online conferences, an at-home service project, and attendance at practice (student and sponsor). Our dedicated team of catechists will work with our candidates. Confirmation will take place on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 2:00 and 5:00 PM.
A permission slip to participate in our Confirmation Program is needed. Please complete HERE You will have the option to pay the $60 fee online upon completion.
