Boy Scouts of America
Program for those who have completed the fifth grade and are between 11 and 18 years old. The Scouts BSA program achieves the objectives of developing leadership, character, citizenship, and personal fitness thru community service projects, advancement, skill development and mentoring. Boy Scout Troop 64 was founded in 1928 and is now sponsored and chartered by St. Gabriel Parish. Troop 64 holds a number of activities throughout the year, attends a week long summer resident camp, and participates in a Klondike Derby each winter.
The Troop usually meets weekly on Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., in the Multipurpose Room of St. Gabriel School.
There is participation flexibility to accommodate those who participate in sports programs or other activities that may conflict occasionally.
