Friends of Jesus - Special Needs Education

Special Needs PSR takes place Saturday Mornings from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at St. Gabriel Learning Loft Preschool building. Through small group interactions, hands-on activities and individual instruction, Good Shepherd faith formation works, and technology based lessons using IPads. Catechists acquaint students who face physical, intellectual or emotional challenges with: Basic Catholic Christian beliefs, Sacramental preparation & family activities.
Volunteers Needed: Special Needs PSR is in need of several volunteer catechists. Time commitment is most Saturday mornings September through May from 9:30am to 11:15am. Classes consist of: prayer, small group activities and individual instruction. Lessons are provided for this ministry. Ages 15 and up, please consider this great opportunity to help spread Jesus' love by serving as an aide in our program. Service hours are available.
