Event Planning Tools
To hold a school or parish related event at St. Gabriel please follow these guidelines and requirements:
- Call the parish office and inquire if the room you need is available for the day and time you need it.
- Fill out the On -line Event Set Up Form . All event set-up forms are required to be submitted at least 7 days before the event takes place. If you are booking an event within the seven days and the parish office has accepted your request your forms should be submitted immediately.
- Notify the parish office of any changes to the event time or date.
- If your event is not parish/school, but private, please contact parish office: 440-352-8282
Promote Your Event: Bulletin, Lector Announcements, and other Publicity Support
Please use this form for publicity support to get a flyer, Sign Up Genius, Press Release, Photographer/Videographer, and Social Media coverage for your event. Please email all bulletin/lector announcements to Paula in the parish office by Tuesday noon prior to the weekend you would like this published. Note that the publisher of the bulletin changes the schedule before holidays.

Copying/Office Assistance
Our copier is available for all your ministry needs. Please bring your tasks to the office and ask for assistance in using the machine. If you need office supplies, check with the office before purchasing. Postage can also be used in the office for your ministry mailings.

Purchases
Purchases for your ministry must be aligned with your budget and can be reimbursed via a check requisition. See Check Requisition online form under HOME, Alphabetized Forms. Be sure to utilize our Tax Exempt No. for all purchases. The Business office can provide this.

Volunteers
Please utilize your other team members to recruit and fill positions within your ministry. If you need more people, contact Allison Capella for assistance. Note that ALL adults who will be working with children in any capacity must be Virtus Trained. Visit the Safety page on our website for the policies and procedures. All adult volunteers need to be cleared through Anna Lee, our Safety Coordinator - even if they have been through Virtus training. If you have volunteers age 14 to 17, they must be fingerprinted. All information on our Safety page.

All Ministry Leaders meet three times a year to collaborate, build faith, and learn about new initiatives. Watch for email from Allison Capella for invite and information.

Call to Stewardship
Once a year, parishioners are asked to complete an in-pew card identifying ministries they have in interest in learning more about. These cards are collected and the information passed along to each leader according to their ministry. Leaders must contact these people within one week of receiving this information - to discuss whether this ministry is one that the parishioner feels they can best share their gifts.
